Design, develop, test and document computer programs
applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer
systems; evaluate user request for new and modified program,
such as financial or human resource management to determine
feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current
system and computer capabilities; consult with user to identify
current operating procedures and clarify program objectives;
prepare flow charts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps and describe logical operations; analyze, review and alter
program to increase operation efficiency or adapt to new
requirements; write manual for users to describe installation
and operational procedures; provide technical support to
program user.
 
Hours:
40 hours per week
 
Education & Experience:
MS in CS/EE/CE or closely relatd field. Will accept a MS degree or BS plus five years progressive work experience in lieu of a MS degree. Any suitable combination of education and work experience is acceptable.
